Hi, I’m Abbas Lalji, a passionate vocalist, composer, writer and vocal coach from Birmingham, UK. My journey started at the age of 4 where I was inspired by my parents Akil Hussain and Mumtaz Lalji, and to start reciting in public. I graduated in Media Production and have performed across the globe including; UK, Africa, UAE, Canada, Scandinavia and US to mention a few!

Growing up in the UK, I was exposed to mostly “Indian classical” materials. This has improved my versatility when it comes to recitation. I have mastered the skill of being able to adapt to different styles of singing, specifically in different languages. This is a speciality I hope to include as part of my training!

Who I coach? Any male that is 10 years and older, be it any location or any ability.

How will I coach? Skype 1 to 1 lessons

What I will coach? reciting of Manqabat, Noha, Marthiya and Indian classical (basic) as well as guidance on delivery.

What languages? English, Urdu & Punjabi.
